Could you lop of you locks for charity?

Alana raised a staggering £1,262.50 (incl Gift Aid) for charity these last few months by collecting sponsorship for cutting off her gorgeous long hair which she has been growing for the last 5 years.

“I would like to donate my hair to someone who needs it more than me so I am having my hair cut off to be made into a wig for children who have lost theirs through cancer treatment and other such illnesses. It costs around £350-500 to make the wig and I would like to raise as much as possible to help make a difference to a young life. I have split the donations between Little Princess Trust and another charity which is also close to my heart (literally!). Lagan’s Foundation give much needed support for families with babies with broken hearts and feeding difficulties.”

As one of the charities chosen by Alana, Lagan’s Foundation has received over £631 from her fantastic fundraising via Virgin Money Giving and we would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to Alana and everyone who sponsored her.
