Our treasured employee Akeela has just shared her comeback from illness to working with Lagan's to good concerns – and on film!
A thoroughly moving movie featuring our employee Akeela perfectly illustrated the success of The Community Asset Navigation (CANS) programme at Bolton CVS.
Akeela has truly bounced back from illness to high promise, an exciting future and employment with Lagan’s, as our valued admin support. You can see her story via the following YouTube link HERE.
And Akeela hasn’t been the only person whose life has been transformed by CANS. A 103-year-old woman who presented at her GP with a chronic sense of isolation is now being taken to her church each Sunday – and once again making friends and recalling happier memories.
